This sound machine is such a cute and essential tool for motherhood! I was a little worried about what the nightlight would look like because other nightlights can often be not very soothing. However, it turned out to be a warm, perfectly lit glow.

My baby actually fell asleep holding it the first time we used it. The sound options are perfect, with one that sounds just like falling asleep at a park or outside. There’s also a clip that lets you attach it to anything, diaper bag, stroller, crib, literally anything! The charge lasts all night and truly helps both you and your baby sleep.

The sound machine comes in a tidy box and looks trustworthy based on its overall appearance. It looked trendy, like something every “it” mom has.

Additionally, the sound machine was lightweight yet durable, which was a great benefit for daily use. The packaging was neat and minimal, and the user manual was easy to access and understand. Right out of the box, it felt like a high-quality product that was thoughtfully designed with parents in mind. The neutral color and soft texture also made it feel like it would fit into any nursery or bedroom décor without standing out.         

Functionality

I haven’t even read the directions yet, because it was very easy to figure out on my own. As a young mom, I don’t have time for gadgets that require assembly, complicated connections, or a long setup. I was relieved that I could simply turn it on, explore the buttons, and immediately understand how it works.

The controls are intuitive and clearly labeled. There are many different settings that allow you to adjust it to your liking, including volume, sound type, and brightness. I love that I can quickly change everything with one hand, even while holding my baby.

Comfort/ Ease of Use

We have been sleeping with it in the bed since we got it. My baby and I co-sleep and dream feed, and I feel safe having it near us to provide the gentle, warm light we need through the night.

The sound options are perfect: water, rain, brown noise, white noise, outdoor sounds, lullabies, and more. All of them are soothing and can be adjusted to match your mood or your baby’s needs. It’s simple to use without even reading the directions, and it tags along easily, on walks, while cooking, babywearing, crib naps, car rides, and more.         

Final Thoughts

This is the perfect sound machine. Many other sound machines aren’t really made with babies in mind, but you can tell this one is. My son can easily hold it, bite it, and snuggle with it, and the light is the perfect level of brightness for him to use at night. It’s lightweight, so it’s easy for him to carry and enjoy, but it’s also very durable. When he inevitably bangs it on the wall, as he does with everything, it doesn’t get damaged.

The sounds are soothing and help him fall asleep and stay asleep. My baby will not sleep unless I have something playing, so this is truly necessary for us. Personally, I love the sounds as well. As a mom with postpartum anxiety, it’s incredibly calming to listen to rain, white noise, or a gentle lullaby.

This product was clearly designed with both babies and postpartum mothers in mind. We don’t need a large, heavy device that takes several attempts to figure out and is easy to forget in the rush of daily life. We need a cozy, portable, and easy sound machine we can toss in the diaper bag and go... and this is definitely that.
